Bend Machine purchased a Haas Vertical Milling Machine The Haas VF-3 vertical machining center has 40" x 20" x 25" (1016 x 508 x 635 mm) xyz travels and is built utilizing all American-made cast-iron components. The Haas VF-3 is a rugged, medium-sized VMC that yields full reliability and accuracy in a moderately-sized machine. The VF-3 has a 40-taper cartridge spindle driven by a 20 hp vector Dual-Drive (Y-Delta) motor. The VF-3 produces either 75 ft-lb of torque at a low 1400 rpm, and will also run up to 10000 rpm in 1.2 seconds for finishing aluminum. The Haas has a 1000 inch per minute feed capacity. The Haas control features advanced tool management, single-button features, 15-inch color LCD monitor and a USB port. Bend Machine can build anything from your drawings to your specifications. Bend Machine purchased a Haas SL-30 Lathe The Haas SL-30 Lathe has 40" x 20" capacity, full C-axis and live tooling. travels and is built utilizing all American-made cast-iron components. The SL-30, with a max turning capacity of 17" x 34" and a 10" chuck, has a bar capacity of up to 3.0". Haas high-performance turning centers also feature massive headstock castings with symmetric ribs for rigidity and thermal stability; on-the-fly wye-delta switching for peak performance throughout the rpm range; and embedded chip trays and high-volume coolant systems for efficient chip removal.
